Mehmet Baha, Founder and Senior Consultant at Solution Folder has more than 12 years of professional working experience including managerial roles. He has given speeches and conducted trainings in 13 countries across 4 continents. He was also one of the first employees of Facebook in Europe. As a Fulbright Scholar, he gained a master’s degree in conflict resolution from American University, School of International Service, Washington DC.
Bill Boorman is the hat-wearing founder and host of #tru events, and the MD Innovation at recruitingdaily LLP. #tru have hosted over 100 events during the last 12 months, in 65 countries and 5 continents. He worked as a Training and HR Director at a national recruitment business for 12.5 years before the recession hit and he discovered social media. Now Bill is consistently ranked as a top HR influencer and advises a range of organizations. His specialities include Social Recruiting Integration and Infrastructure, Keynote speaking, Recruiting Technology, Recruitment Marketing, Digital Media and Brand Advocacy.
Dr. Martin Ebeling holds a PhD in philosophy and studied philosophy and political science in New York, Berlin, Potsdam, and Frankfurt. He believes that philosophy has much to teach us and that we should not consign it to the proverbial ivory tower. He is the author of the book Conciliatory Democracy which advocates a new attitude toward the persistent political disagreements so characteristic of our age. At present, Dr. Martin Ebeling works as an instructor, workshop facilitator, moderator and teacher at The School of Life Berlin, though he prefers to describe himself as an instigator of ideas.
Kellie has over 15 years of experience in HR in high-growth technology companies. She is currently the HR Director for GREE, who build mobile games and prior to this worked for Atlassian as the HR Director for 5 years. Atlassian is well recognized for many achievements and being in the Top 3 Best Places to Work in Australia for the past 5 years. Kellie is known for her high energy, challenging the status quo and pragmatic HR style.Her goal is to create a workplace culture where people do the best work of their life. And Kellie aims to achieve this by focusing on developing leaders of all levels and building great workplace cultures. She holds an Executive MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management.
Katja Hinz is partner in Berlin’s office of the law firm BEITEN BURKHARDTs and member of the employment and labour law practice group. She has practised employment and labour law as a lawyer for more than 10 years advises companies in all areas of individual and collective employment law – in and out of court. Besides her legal practise Katja is also passionately involved in the HR scene of Berlin. She is the curator of HR Leaders Berlin and hosts various HR events on a regular basis. Her aim is to actively take up current HR trends and transcend them into her legal work, pushing boundaries from traditional legal advice towards creative design of new legal measures.
As an Organizational Psychologist, Justyna Krzych specializes in designing sustainable people processes and creating values-lead organizations where company culture intersects with business. Prior to moving to Berlin from South East Asia, she served as the Head of People and Culture at Mindvalley, an award-winning learning experience company. Justyna currently works as a Change Manager at Zalando where she facilitates HR transformation.
Molly runs Internal Operations at Blinkist. She has worked extensively on creating the organization’s unique operating system, known as the “BOS”. Molly is passionate about all things “start-up”. She enjoys working on organizational design, and scalable processes. She is especially interested in organizational culture and development. Molly has also worked for other established Berlin tech companies, such as Rocket Internet, GoEuro, and Customer Alliance.
For the past 17 years, Anna has been working in various roles combining her knowhow in HR and her passion for digital and fast growing companies. She now focus on enabling HR professionals to be part of the evolution of talent management. Anna is passionate about HR Tech and support founders of HR startups in their businesses. She also founded The Secret HR Society and currently work for Deutsche Telekom’s incubator hub:raum.
As Head of Culture and People Operations, Cindy has been driving a culture-driven approach to HR at Marley Spoon. Her focus is on building a strong company culture, using people data to deliver optimised processes and helping managers become better managers. Prior to Marley Spoon, Cindy was the Head of HR at DaWanda and payleven. She is also a Juror at the HR Innovation Award, guest lecturer, mentor and speaker.
Jennifer began her career in talent acquisition where she saw first-hand the power of organizations that enabled smart people to do what they loved every day. In her current role as Head of HR at Contentful, she enjoys promoting a culture of innovation, agility and empowerment. Jennifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Richmond with a BA in Human Resource Management, and is certified through both the HR Certification Institute (SCP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SPHR). In her spare time, she enjoys exploring her new hometown of Berlin and practicing her German language skills.
